Thoughts for Blue
It is really not a fun #$*ing day when you find yourself praying that one of your favorite foster dogs just has viral pneumonia instead of it being one of the symptoms of her having canine distemper even though she's shown most of the other signs too... Because you know if it's just the pneumonia, you can deal with doing the nursing her back to health thing (even if it makes you queasy) but if it's the other, she only has a very diminished chance of surviving the week. And it's just not #*$ing fair that such a beautiful lovey girl who has spent every night of the last two weeks sleeping tucked up in your arms would only have just this inadequate amount of time away from the hellhole she came from. She deserves so much more time to be spoiled and loved. So please, please, please, don't let her have the bad, worse thing. I'm asking nicely.

I am so crying right now. That was the prettiest dog ever!!! Connor will be heart-broken if it's distemper. I really hope and pray it's pneumonia that can be treated.
