Working Together
While in the waiting room at the vet's office this morning, I notice a lady come in with a large dog who is clearly terrified. So terrified, in fact, that it poops right where it's standing near the reception desk. The dog's owner looks down, steps two feet to the side and then goes on about her business like her dog didn't just empty his bowels right in a high traffic area. The entire waiting room simultaneously wrinkles their noses from the smell and she just ignores it.
She takes the seat next to me and I turned and looked at her. She says to me (all irritated): "WHAAT?"
I was a little too stunned to say anything, but the elderly gentleman on the other side of me leans over and answers loudly, "YOUR DOG JUST TOOK A PRODIGIOUS SHIT."
She says, "oh no, that wasn't my dog."
Everyone in the waiting room, including me, the old guy and the receptionist responds in unison, "OH YES, IT WAS."
