Dashiell Update

By the by, Dashiell the Leech has gone to greener pastures and by "greener pastures," I don't mean that Great Muddy Swamp in the Sky. He's gone to live with our friend Matt who is a science teacher and who has about ten aquariums in his house and garage. This came about after I found out that leeches are ridiculously hard to kill (i.e. they can live for 10 months without food!). Also, I was having a little trouble sleeping with him in the other room after they told me that leeches can actually CRAWL OUT of their water bowls if you don't keep some sort of tight lid on it. I told Sam that if that happened, I'd have to just go ahead and move out of our house.
