Turn It Up

Today's Plinky prompt is:

What three songs sound best at full volume?

And while I can easily think of three songs right off the bat, inevitably, someone will post a song five minutes later and I'll say, DOH! I shoulda thought of that one. So, instead of coming up with a definitive three songs, I'll just tell you the three songs on my current playlist that get a full volume bump-up when they come on.

1. Are You Drinkin' With Me Jesus--Mojo NIxon

2. Suspicious Minds--Elvis and/or Dwight Yoakum (I have both)

3. Baby I'm a Star--Prince

..that last one is a bit of a cheat--Pretty much all Prince gets a bump. And Elvis too while I'm at it. And usually Old 97's, Mother Truckers, Stevie Wonder, Pipettes, Me First and the Gimme Gimme's... it's kindof a wonder I'm not deaf, actually.

Try Eva Cassidy sometime. She's awesome to listen to with a good book and some great wine.
