A boy and his dog

I guess I hadn't remembered that old adage about the two most difficult photography subjects : puppies and children. I think it goes something like, "you might as well butter up a corncob and stick it in your ear because it's probably more enjoyable and only slightly less productive" (actually, I may have just made that old adage up, but it rings true..). Hopper and Mr. Bean were not at all interested in taking a picture together.

There was either egregious head licking..


or ear pulling..


and general lack of focus..

this was pretty much the best shot I got..



Next time I'm going to put peanut butter on the camera and let the chips fall where they may.
