So, this is kind of interesting--it's an article in the New York Times about how scientists have discovered that we're not just imagining it or putting our touchy/feelies on, some animals do feel and have displayed signs of complex emotions like regret. To which I say: duh. I coulda told you that. Of COURSE they feel regret. What they lack, however, is opposable thumbs and a time machine to back and change things. I see that look in Hudson's face every single day that says, "Why, dear Lord, WHY did I not take care of Mr. Bean when I had the chance?? If I only knew they planned on keeping him, I could have maimed him in a more lasting way." You might think I'm putting words in his mouth, but I'm telling you, if Huddy could speak, the first thing he'd ask is WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING.
On a side note, I'm looking into some obedience classes for Mr. B. Anyone know of a good one?

I love this article -- the monkeys made angry sounds and flung away their cucumbers because they learned they could have had grapes! Hilarious.
