A Pairing

First thing off, I just want you to know that I don't eat Moon Pies. bluuurgh. I'm sorry, even the words moon and pie in close proximity makes that gland go off in the back of my mouth and I have to work to keep from retching. BUT, far be it from me to deny the appeal they seem to have for many. Just tell me you don't eat those banana ones...eeeeiccch.. ANYWAY, since you're probably eating them and Juliet wants to know, I have gotten the scooby from my resident wine guy on what kind of vino should one drink with Moon Pies (blearch).
Sam recommends:
Brachetto d'Acqui
Brachetto d'Acqui (or sometimes just known as Acqui) is not a brand name, it's a type of red italian wine that's made in either a sparkly (fizzy) or still version, but the sparkly is what you want for your MP (ucch). They're fruity and best served chilled. You can find lots of good ones and they're not expensive (look to pay around $15 for a bottle maybe?) If we're very lucky, the Sam might show up in the comments and give us some particular ones to go for. Anyway, Give one a try and see what you think.

LMAO

See, normally, I would just drink an RC Cola or a sweet iced tea with my delectable treat. I just thought it might be time to expand my "beverage avec Moon Pie" repertoire.

So I do appreciate your sacrifice, Lee. (giggle)
