This morning when I woke up and opened the back door to let the dogs out, I had to immediately slam it and run back to huddle under the covers. brrrrrrrrr. It was 57 degrees. It's ok. A bit unexpected since Fall doesn't usually start here til, oh say, DECEMBER, but not an altogether unwelcome change. I'm especially glad because Hopper's Halloween costume is a plush number that I managed to get on his entire body without one supersonic scream this past weekend. It's a cute getup, but it does require weather somewhere below the 90's.

So, cue the golden leaves. I think Autumn may have started... though I hear summer will be back around 2:30 this afternoon. It just went fishin'.
