Santa Rita's Texas Rose

Another recipe for you--courtesy of the Austin Chronicle Food-O-File. Just about all ingredients available at Central Market though you might have to sling by somewhere else for the Tito's. I know I'll be sipping on this when Texas beats USC at the Rose Bowl. Actually, I don't really care if Texas wins --though they will-- I'll just be enjoying my cocktail and (hopefully) a great game.

Santa Rita's Texas Rose

1 shot Tito's Vodka

Half shot Paula's Texas Orange liqueur

1 shot Rose's Lime juice

Texas prickly pear juice

Shake well with ice and strain into a martini glass or serve on the rocks. Fumble the hook'em horns sign and slur "The Eyes of Texas are upon You" accordingly.
