Will have to wait

The City Council discussion on the ordinance to allow dogs on restaurant patios has been postponed til March 3rd. Some restauranteurs are for it, some against. Question for Marc Katz (of Katz's Deli) who had this to say:

“From a sanitation standpoint, it greatly concerns me. How do we know that our service is not going to touch the dog and touch a place the dog touched and then touch your food,” Katz said.

Dude, have you never heard of washing your hands???? You might maybe should look into it--it seems to be a good and simple policy for restaurants. Or if you're that concerned with your servers touching dirty things and then touching food, you could always ban cash money. It's dirtier than my dog.
