Madeline's rankings

My close friends Meredith and Steve are in town with their daughter Madeline (beautifullest child ever) this week. Madeline is not quite three yet, but is already brilliant enough to have made this assessment when we saw her last summer:

"Aunt Lee is pretty. Mr. Sam has lots of dogs." (See? Clearly, a very smart little girl)

I love that in Madeline's mind, the dogs all belong to Sam.

Anyway, this time she has decided that this is the order of the dogs she likes at our house:

1. Micah
2. Hudson

All the rest of them can go to hell.
