So, if you happened to like both Daniel Craig and Eva Green in Casino Royale (which is really fantastic if you haven't seen it), then your next chance to see them together again onscreen is in The Golden Compass coming out later this year. I'm excited because The His Dark Materials Trilogy by Philip Pullman are three of my favorite books I've ever read. Golden Compass is the first of those. There are warrior polar bears, people. It is awesome.

ooh, I love those books too! But I'm curious as to how the rather virulent message about organized religion will make the jump to a major motion picture...
yeah, I thought about that too. If they do the film the wrong way, I'll be pissed! I've heard, though, that they're keeping pretty close to the books, so we'll see...
