Prospective adopter: so, if we come to the Meet and Greet on Saturday, will you have other dogs other than cocker spaniels?
Me: Well, we're Cocker Spaniel Rescue, but since you're coming, we can round up some Beagles and Whippets if you'd like.
I'm back on the phones and it's not a good thing.
