Drull
oh hey yall, I'm back. It only took 9 1/2 hours to get here. Ooof. It's not that long of a drive home normally, but I was stuck in one of those inexplicable slow downs that happen sometimes on I-35 between Dallas and Waco. You always think there's some sort of major accident involving an 18-wheeler and a large amount of chickens, but by the time the traffic eases up 45 minutes later, all you see is the extra tow truck and a huge pile of feathers and who knows what the hell happened there?
Man, I'm glad to be home.
Had a nice trip though. Sorry for the no updating, but there were computer viruses and actual visits with real people to blame. My mom had a nice birthday and as usual, there was not enough time to see everyone or spend enough time with those I did get to see. My only regret is that I did not pack the sign my niece made for me (pictured above, right). Something tells me, I could really use that tomorrow.

it never fails that when you're in town, we're outta town.
One of these days, we're gonna plan it JUST RIGHT.
Ugh. Last year we stood still on I-35 for 4 hours somewhere near Temple --will never go north for Thanksgiving again.
We're glad you're back! Drull and all.
mel, I know, I'll be Baaahk (that was my Arnold Schwartzenegger voice).
Suze--Temple is a friggin' BLACK HOLE, I swear.
