I'll let you in on a little secret:

I have always believed that people who don't think aliens are real are idiots. Ok, maybe "idiot" is a strong word (I'm cranky today, bear with me), but I just can't fathom how you can see pictures of the universe and how vast it is and how freaking tiny of a speck Earth is and somehow think that we're the only ones out there. I'm not saying I believe every single News of the World report about how Grampa Eddie was abducted and anally probed or whatever. I'm just saying that I think the possibility of life somewhere in outer space is a hell of a lot more likely than not.

This has nothing to do with my erstwhile crush on Fox Mulder, either. Someone else believes it, too, and he's got more credibility than me. check it out.

Is this any reflection on the fact our brother convinced us (or maybe just me) the boogeyman was in the laundry closet when we were growing up?

I thought that you outgrew Mulder-remember when we used to talk on the phone to watch Xfiles at home alone?
