about how it is

Look, I already gave up caffeine two months ago, a'ight? I know the deal. But sometimes, I require just a little (false) pick-me-up i.e. "The Devil's Spit": DECAF. I don't neeeeed you *#$%ers in the hotel providing me with a defective coffee maker so that I can't even get that. I WANT MY FAKE COFFEE, DAMMIT.

Have I mentioned I'm in Dallas?

Maybe I shouldn't say this, but that's never stopped me before.

A Dr.Pepper never hurt anyone. Saul included.

Well, caffeine consumption = hot issue, but I do know people who drank coffee when pregnant. When I told my nurse at the first prenatal visit that I had already given up coffee, I got a blank stare and a "why?"

Of course the plus side of giving it up is that whenever you start drinking it again, it's amazing how strong it seems.

Okay, first of all you shouldn't quit drinking it unless you know your having a boy. Then you will need to start the dear thing on benadryl at birth to keep your sanity after the stories I've heard about Sam growing up! Ha! JK! Actually, moderation is key. One lonely cup of coffee every morning won't hurt. And BTW, I'm pretty sure Dr. Pepper has the lowest caffeine content in sodas.

I totally agree with Robyn. I have read that 300 mg of caffeine a day are okay. Supposedly, one shot of espresso is about 200 mg. Some coffee may have twice that much per cup though (like what Greg brews -- utter pond mud), so just see how bad your heart races after the first sip and go from there.
