Programming Note

To my sister who believes I do this:

Actually, I do not leave the TV on for the dogs. I did actually used to leave the TV on with a little Animal Planet playing in the background but then I came home one day to a TV screen that had about 5 layers of dried dog spit on it and that was the end of that. Also, there is a little something we like to call the Ferrero Rocher Holiday Commercial which features a doorbell ringing approximately 287 times in the space of one 30 second spot and every single one of those #*$(# doorbells makes the dogs go completely insane barking with an ADDED bonus of spittle flying everywhere. If you ever want to break a terrorist, seriously, just tie him to a chair in my living room and let that commercial play ,I dunno, three times in row and I promise you there would be NO NEED for waterboarding.

So, now we just leave 'em with a little NPR.

I can't believe dog saliva has that much affect on you after all these years. And if it wasn't for that commercial I still think you'd leave it on for them.

oh, I'm pretty used to it by now, but when it distorts the picture.... ick.
