Ok, I realize my TV recommendations should generally be taken with a grain of salt, BUT, I'm telling you, if you're not watching Jockeys on Animal Planet, you are missing out. It's all about what happens behind the scenes at racetrack in California where some of the best jockeys in the country compete--but it follows some newbies as well as some of the top ranked ones. If you enjoy horseracing (or honestly, even if you don't), it's fascinating stuff.
