eeeeee...eeeee....eeeee (psycho shower scene noises).

Meet Hortense, the baby "Manikin". She's one of those dolls they give to high school students in lifeskills class to make them terrified of reproducing and/or having sex...ever. He/She/IT weighs about 25lbs, never fully opens its eyes, and apparently, if you put the batteries in, never stops screaming. We haven't put the batteries in yet. I'm too scared. Hortense is a gift from Hopper's Aunt Emily who gave it to us because I had read some article that said that parents should start acclimating their toddlers to the "big brother" concept by introducing a baby doll a few months in advance. Hopper won't go within 10 feet of it. So, yeah. It's going well.

For the love of God,please explain to Hopper that his sibling can't possibly be as ugly as that doll.

I had one of those in high school. It worked. It's 10 years later and I still have no kids. Just cats. They're quieter.
