You've been Ooofed.

How does one know when you've been Ooofed? Well, here's your first clue:
and then you find out that this tiny baby is away from his mama way, way too early because some jackhole abandoned him at an emergency vet clinic. Didn't even bother to walk him inside, just left him in a box on the doorstep.

...because he has a lame leg
...and he is so filthy, dirty and covered in fleas that you absolutely can't wait on the bath
..and he does not like de baf (not one bit).
Oh yeah, that's when you've been Ooofed. Hep Me!

OMG OMG OMG. I will pass out from the cute.

That reminds me, I was gonna ask you what to do about puppies infested with ticks...assuming they're too young to get dipped or whatever.

Believe it or not you can give them Capstar WAY early--my vet says they are more in danger of dying from the ticks than they are capstar. But if you cant do that: wet 'em down and get busy with the flea comb...

Thanks--my friend Laura adopted a couple of headed-for-the-pound puppies and they were infested with fleas & ticks. I suggested a Dawn bath and that does seem to have helped...she's just spending a lot of time de-ticking. Fun!
