September 28, 1991

September 28, 1991 is a date remembered in our family, not only as the wedding anniversary of my sister and her husband Blake, but also the day we all lost a little bit of our eyesight due to retinal scarring from the electric blue dresses in the wedding party. Now, I'm not gonna say my sister was a Bridezilla--she was just a "perfectionist" about her big day. The observation that I have zero shots of me standing within 5 feet of her or that all these pictures were taken from far away should not at all lead you to believe that we were all deeply afraid of her that day.

I particularly love this shot of our sister-in-law's hair. She was rockin'.

And speaking of hair, I have no idea what was up with the corkscrew on my forehead. I do remember that it was plastered there though and didn't move for 6 straight hours.

Look at us, we're kicky and sassy! We are jauntily sticking our feet in a "partaay" position and showing off our cute white gloves! WE ARE NOT AT ALL TERRIFIED BY THE BRIDE.

So, Happy Anniversary Robyn and Blake! You've now been married so long your flower girl is graduating high school. Dudes, yer old.

I am very proud to say that I still stay in touch and am FRIENDS with all the bridesmaids despite my behavior that day. Sorry guys!
