Sam Day

Today is Sam's birthday so to celebrate, here's a few previously untold Sam Facts:

• learned to cook at age 5


• when I say "freakishly tall" I mean, he's 6'7. He was the same height I am now when he was in like, 3rd grade.


• despite height, doesn't play basketball.


• plays 3 different instruments.


• doesn't believe in wearing blue jeans.


• doesn't have a middle name. It' s Just Sam.


• will eat any food you can imagine or think of, other than eggplant and sheep's eyeballs. Though I'm unsure about the eyeballs, he'd probably try them.


• thinks potpourri smells like "somebody's grandmother exploded".


• secretly loves puppies


• Can have entire conversations in his sleep as evidenced by this exchange at 6-ish this morning:

Me: (whispering) Happy Birthday Sam!

Sam: (loudly) No comments, no limits, no sets.

Me: What does that mean?

Sam: No repetitions.

Me: ???

Sam: (all exasperated) THAT'S WHY WE HAVE MEAT IN THE BARBELLS AT THE CLUB

Me: Oh.
