holy crap is it Thursday already? I should never assign myself weekly "to do's" because it always startles me when that seven days rolls around so quickly.
Are you ready to replace another 3 songs from my ipod? No? I am. Let's get rid of these, shall we?
ooh la la--The Faces
Mercy--Duffy
Delirious--Prince
I really liked everyone's suggestions from last week, though I have a few comments:
1. Shawty certainly did get low. I'm not sure we need that many "lows". Also, shame on her for wearing fur. That ain't right.
2. German pop is ridiculously addictive. And fun to make up your own lyrics to because you don't speak German.
3. I like Vampire Weekend, I do, although living in Austin means that I've heard about enough from them to last me til August..2012.
4. I love that Suzy hates jogging worse than I do. I hate it and yet, can't stop. I felt this way about Jazzercise once, though, so there's hope.

Goody-goody-game time again. How about some old school-"Great Balls of Fire", the theme song from Rocky, or "The Flight of the Bumble Bee". I'm just sayin'-it's almost summer and the insects are coming.
1. Folkin' Around by Panic! at the disco
2. Land Of Confusion the remake by Disturbed
3. Shut Your Mouth by Garbage
These were the first three songs up on my iPod today. Have fun!
Stayin Alive by the Bee Gees.
Stayin Alive by the Bee Gees.
by now, some of you may have noticed that my sister Robyn is...shall we say, A BEE GEES FAN, evidenced by the fact that she also suggested this last week and...
ok, fine. I already have it on the pod. I also have More than a Woman, Jive Talkin' and How Deep is Your Love. Are you happy now? god, our family is weird.
I was going to switch to Jive Talkin if you didn't finally admit it!!!
The Way I Are -- Timbaland. That is, if you can forgive the atrocious grammar of the title. I can. I just close my eyes.
If I Can't Change Your Mind -- Sugar. One of my favorite songs ever.
The El -- Rhett Miller
I heart Rhett.
I don't actually know if any of these would be good for jogging, because I've always jogged without an ipod (I hate hate hate the earbuds and haven't found a good substitute yet). let me know if they work, if you use them.
Dolly Parton - Here You Come Again
Tracy Ullman - They Don't Know
The Cars - Best Friend's Girl
