Vocabulary

It's totally true that, as parents, you learn new things every day. For example, Sam and I have added quite a few vocabulary terms in just the past few days..

Here are a few (with illustrations)

"ANGER ELF"--i.e. state of crankiness--generally occurs immediately preceeding a feeding time or otherwise denotes upcoming poonami*. Characterized by furrowed brow and general pissed off expression.

"BEANED"--i.e. no longer sanitary, as in: "You can't use that binky, it's been Beaned".

"POONAMI" --unfortunate occurrence in which one does not clear off soiled diaper fast enough before "second wave" comes through...

yeah. I'm not going to post a picture of that--you'll just have to trust me when I say, YOU WILL KNOW IT WHEN YOU SEE IT.

Germs and dirt will help build up his immune system. At least that's what I've been telling myself for the last 18 months.
